Canada increased the number of times a candidate can participate in the IEC

On July 31, 2019, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released some updates and clarifications about the International Experience Canada (IEC) program. Recognized organization-nominated applicants are not subject to discontinuity rules imposed by some Youth Mobility Agreement (YMA) countries. If IEC participants have exhausted their allowable participation under the YMA with a specific country or territory, they can then apply through a recognized organization and, if eligible, maximize the number of their participations up to 2 more participations. Unlike general IEC applicants, applicants nominated through a recognized organization are not subject to the discontinuance requirement. There are 9 recognized organizations. #IRCC, #IEC, #YMA
